Engine caught fire destroying the car. This has occurred at least 3 times already with the Ferrari F430

It's just a car, an expensive car.

I am truly surprised and puzzled by all of these engine fires.

I'm not. Marginal cooling combined with people crusing around town in a low gear running the engine up to get people to think they have a larger penis.

Heartbreaking...

I have NEVER had any cooling/overheating issues with my 360, but what you said about cruising around in low gear at high rpms all day does have merit to it; I could see how constant and sustained abuse could lead to catastrophe.

I'm crying right now! lol

Had a black one drive past when I was indoor rock climbing last nite, it wasn't on fire though

My 430 hasnt caught on fire yet. If it does thats what insurance is for. You dont own this car if you cant easily afford another one without even thinking twice about it.

If mine catches on fire I can always buy the 599. :2 cents:
