CCBill?
I signed up yesterday for a CCBill account.
Now they declined me because I do not have a members only section developed. I have asked a few people and it was told to me that CCBill does all this for you. How do I create a members only section seeing that CCBill does not do anything more than process payments. Can someone point me to some kind of resource so I can begin developing a members only section. thanx |
Pretty sure they'll secure the area for you, but I'm fairly certain they won't make it for you. :2 cents:
You gotta make it, and give them something to approve. |
Yeah have a members page for your site done, then tell them where it is and you can secure it.
CCBill is a payment processor not a web designer |
did you really expect ccbill to develop the members area for you?
|
We really just need to see what the customers will be paying for and be able to verify that it is a valuable service. In the case of a membership site, the "members" area must be created and live.
Feel free to hit me up... paulk @ ccbill.com i c q 248615940 |
I was told they will even update the members area :upsidedow

You mean they didnt give you guy's the introductory offer of a free domain name thrown in AND 5 years free hosting with 5000tb monthly transfer?
Cool, :banana must be that late night phone call I made :winkwink: |
thats rich!!!!
no need to actually sell anything but 404 traffic. "i don't have anything to sell but buy it anyway" CCBill loves those kinds of sites. can you imagine the charge back ratio? |
shit my appologies. I didn't even look at your name.
"LouisianaGuys" Finish the second grade. Being an adult webmaster takes more experience than driving a tractor in a cane field. |
I did not want them to create the pages.
I was under the assumption that they did the login interface and mysql stuff seeing they charge 14% when my public company's cc processor only charges 1.75% to process credit cards. |

CCBill even makes and submits TGP galleries to TheHun for you, which is great because Ron has a lot of pull with Patrick and gets every gallery they submit listed in the first 15 paid spots.
CCBill is the BEST! |
Mmm... na, nevermind.

im not trying to be popular
i was looking for just a little help and guidance and im not using my brain...its funny i run a small business that is doing good in public....i created louisianaguys.com with my own ideas and brain obviously. thinking that CCBIll created the login interface for members to login to is obviously a sin or some kind of taboo. WTF its quite ok though thanx to the help of Paul he explained things to me my mistake was wording... i said i thought they provided everything but that was not what i should have put...i should have put i thought they provided the LOGIN INTERFACE...I thought they did the DATABASE MANAGEMENT and i figured this only because of the 14% charge to process payments...which is 13% more than a reg credit card processor. I have no beef with CCBILL and I look forward to the future I have with them I do think GFY is no longer a resource for those in the adult biz...some have made their money, sit on it and shit on the newcomers because of fear, when there is plenty of room for everyone creative enough to be in the business. |

OK.. Quick and dirty version. Create your member area first one or more sub dirs down from the domain root. If you can see a possibilty of more than one paysite front - it may be worth having a central content area/repository and using symbolic links. There are also several CMS's such as SiteDepth if you want to keep it simple. Once that is done and complete - contact CCBill and any other processors and let them do the access setup (it only takes 5 mins) - then you can tailor/trim the signup/login stuff to direct members to the actual content etc. First stage is have member content available :thumbsup |

We use CCBILL simply because surfers trust them, their support, affiliate management, cookie tracking etc.
I can't speak for the others here but I wasn't poking fun at you, heck I am a newb here too! I was just making light of the situation - nothing personal man. I can share my experience regarding CCBilll with you if you like. ICQ or email me at phil<at>teenfeetcash<dot>com Good luck! |
