Portland and Vancouver peeps....

If you're into industrial music go see Combicrist. Just saw them last night here in San Francisco - fantastic show. They're coming to your cities in the next few days...

Industrial music died long ago.

Industrial music is not my favorite, but it's great to know people can find what ever live music they want out there!

Industrial always kind of seemed almost like a hardcore emo type of thing. I used to work in a club and 1 or 2 nights a week were industrial shows and, in all honesty, they are some of the weirdest people I've ever met.

One dude even had long ass dreads, but only a few strands that came off the top like a ponytail, but the rest was bald. He would hang real chicken feet, duct tape, action figures, and all kinds of other wierd shit out of it.

Too wierd for me.

The thing is that when you listen to a CD or a track on the web it doesn't really have the same feeling as a live show. This particular band had so much energy that you couldn't not help jumping into the mosh pit. It was fantastic.

That is weird, but there are weird people all over so not sure I would tag industrial/*hard emo thing* as weird.
