How much can you expect to pay for an adult tube site?

Anyone know?
Im going to be limiting the videos to like 5mb each..
Estimated 50k hits a day.

Any idea what kind of server Id need to handle that, and how much it would cost?

Pretty cheap probably

Someone was going around the forums recently with a free tube script that came preloaded with a few thousand movies. With 50,000 hit a day you should get some decent hosting though - I recommend Lela Hosting

Want to make money in this industry invest in SEO or a Review site and that is coming from someone who has over $15m banked.

you're dumb too, different people are good at different things, unless you try new things you might never find out what you're good at

that's from someone that has $169.00 in his epassporte account

If you are going to put REAL effort into the tube site it could work.

I wouldn't pay more than $199 for the script and I'd cut a deal with the guys in my sig for a free design.

pr0 08-14-2007 10:15 PM

check out webair myst.....you're gonna need some cheap bandwidth & a whole lot of it

and you're not talking 1 server, you talking multiple servers, with load balancing

I think if you need to be asking basic questions about servers, it's probably too big a business for you! Just my 2 cents, but obviously you need to have a lot of experience and skills to manage a multiple server environment, or a lot of money to pay for those services.

Ok let me re do that..

You have no place thinking about starting a tube site. I just read your other post... You will need to conquer the fax machine before you think about moving up to enterprise level servers.

Im a moran.. how do you use a fax machine?

Yea yea.. Ive never had to use one before really.. normally I would just pay a copy centre to use their fax machine whenever I needed to send a fax (which was rarely)

Anyway.. how do you use one?

Do you just dial the fax number, wait for that weird ringing noise, and hit 'Go' on the fax machine?
