Old news ??
|
I recently moved 1000 miles from a large city to a small town of less then 3000. This is a very rural area with a minimal of technology. After a few months I figured I would give AdultFriendFinder a try - and expand to the 3 larger semi-cities each 90-110 miles in opposite directions. Figured I could at least make the process of finding a REAL woman easier, then take over in person. Well, I signed up - but got distracted and saved with the intent of comming back later to finish. I had not even written anything in my profile and just put XXXXX in the mandatory fields - rushed through, paid, signed off. I came back 3 days later with the intent to complete my profile. Two very interesting things:
1) I have over 60 emails from women that 'loved what I said in my profile' - many actually quoting it (saying they were quoting it). Think of a horoscope - he who can write the most universally applicable horoscope wins - same deal here. 2) There were over 20 replies from MY HOME TOWN! WOW! The local high school here has like 10 students in each graduating class - you do the math. I can assure you, there are not 20 attractive women cruising the Internet for dates here. There are essentially 2 grocery stores - I think I would have at least seen some of them in the past few months. Then went to cancel - far more painful then setting up the account. In the end, I just filed a credit card dispute and went that route. Also, I had set up an email account specifically for this - that I have never used anywhere else. It gets about 200 spam messages a day. Again - never given it out before, never used it before, never posted it publicly in a profile or anything. hahahahahahah |
what do people expect with this kind of thing?

this is pretty much what i have heard from a lot of people that signed up |
It's fraud for most people, but there is also very positive feedback from swingers, freaks, and cheating husbands/housewives.
Also something weird, i read that you are not supposed to give your email to a female that would meet on their site. PS: i searched on Google AFTER reading all this stuff on ripoffreport.com Well.... there is also a lot of talking about affiliate shaving, and i was not too surprised :)))) |
This isn't any different than the days of swinger mags before the internet. If you are a bi-girl looking for other bi-girls or couples or you are a couple looking for bi-girls or other couples then yes you can find real people to fuck. If you are a single guy looking for a single slut to fuck you, well that is very rare.

A guy goes over to his friend's house, rings the bell, and the wife answers.
" Hi, is Tony home?" " No, he went to the store." "Well, you mind if I wait?" " No, come in." They sit down and the friend says "You know Nora, you have the greatest breasts I have ever seen. I'd give you a hundred bucks if I could just see one." Nora thinks about this for a second and figures what the hell - a hundred bucks. She opens her robe and shows one. He promptly thanks her and throws a hundred bucks on the table. They sit there a while longer and Chris says "They are so beautiful I've got to see the both of them. I'll give you another hundred bucks if I could just see the both of them together." Nora thinks about this and thinks what the hell, opens her robe, and gives Chris a nice long look. Chris thanks her, throws another hundred bucks on the table, and then says he can't wait any longer and leaves. A while later Tony arrives home and his wife says "You know, your weird friend Chris came over. " Tony thinks about this for a second and says "Well did he drop off the 200 bucks he owes me?" |
Is this really news? What were these guys expecting?

You got to figure almost any major company will have complaints about its billing practices, the same thing exists for AOL and pretty much any major service provider:
