Joe Francis has long since figured out he is safer in THAT jail than the next jail he would end up in. Getting out of where he is now would just lead to a re-arrest and his being moved to another jail, so why bother?

I think everyone is starting to smell blood, and the pile-on is likely to continue.

Also understand that there is great potential that his business is sunk with the new 2257 laws, especially because he no longer just covered spring bring as a reporter but has been getting the girls to do things in private that do require 2257. As all of those acts (including the public flashing) are all on the same DVD, it could be construed as a single work and 2257 documents would be required for all performers.

I found out who it really is after I made my post . . . you two are birds of a feather.

I'm sure Joe could make bail, but I assume he is staying put since the time he sits in the County jail will count towards whatever sentence he ultimately receives (plus time off for good behavior).

If jail is inevitable, his current lock-up conditions are better than they will be in a Federal pen.

If he's lucky, he will plea bargain for time-served, and pay a big fine.
