All his co-defendants are about to roll over on him, so he's pretty much fucked. No trial, just a plea and jail time. Then he'll have to be a janitor or something because football is sure as shit out of the question.

I still don't know why everyone thinks this. He'll serve a couple of years in prison and, be it right or wrong, someone will give him a shot.
He was never that great. By the time he gets out he'll be lucky to be playing second string. I sure as hell wouldn't want him on my team.
A few people would disagree with you about how good he is. That aside, a lot of people WOULDN'T want them on their team. But I guarantee someone will.
Scouting Report
Assets
-Possibly the best athlete in the league. Has rare speed and quickness, combined with the field vision of a top kick returner. Excellent arm. Throws very well on the run and sees the field well while scrambling. Puts nice touch on deep balls. Avoids interceptions.
Flaws
-Lacks pinpoint accuracy. Will overthrow some receivers. Tries to do too much with his legs at times. Must adjust to a West Coast offense and is likely to hold onto the ball too often at times. May be more reluctant to run this season.
Well - it looks like Vick is trying to cut a deal now, knowing that NEW enditements will be coming down by the end of the month that will iniclude FAR more serious Federal Racketeering charges.
I've heard figures in the range of 5 years federal pen, and $250,000 fines. The fed's are not going to roll over on this one, too much preasure. Vick will do time and pay a heafty fine... but no way this see's the inside of a court room. There is too much to loose for Vick. He is 100% guilty and they have a MOUNTAIN of evidence against him.
His NFL career is over and he is headed for jail!
Was a graphics master for Lensman @ Adult.com but now... I can't tell ya cause it aint top secret.

Career potential
-Pro Bowler.
He's a one dimensional quaterback, which means he's not very good. Every team that wants to be successful against him will keep him contained and make him throw. That's all you have to do. And his days in the NFL are over. He might get some gameplay in Canada or Europe, but NFL is done with him.
I think the NFL has pretty much told him to fuck off.
I hadn't heard anything official yet. At worst I could see them banning him for a couple of years. Once he's served his time, doesn't he deserve a second chance? Don't mistake that for feeling sorry in any way for the guy either, because that's not the case. He made his bed, he'll have to lie in it. But once he's done his time, well, he's paid his debt to society.

Now, if he gets FIVE years in prison, then yeah I'd agree his NFL career is over. If he only gets two, I'd be surprised if someone didn't try to sign him.
