I have a lot of respect for creative people always willing to try new things, to think outside the box, never involved in kid drama and who have a mature and straightforward behavior. There are quite a bunch of people that I respect here, I'm afraid I'll miss someone if I try to mention them all, but I wouldn't like to let this pass without mentioning 3 of them: Mutt, Smokey and Abyss_Al :thumbsup

Very very few, respect is too big a word to throw around on GFY.

Most of the problems we face today are self imposed by many of the "respected" guys.

For instance the problem with Torrent sites is not that they steal content. It's that we can't deliver a product that cost 5 cents and keep members coming to us.

Yes the problem is surfers choose them over us, after 10 years we can't hold on to our market share.

Now who deserves respect for doing that?

I know I will forget many and possibly misspell some of their nicks to boot.
In no particular order:
Tat2jr, smokeythebear, 5$ submissions, JMM, Mayor, Lensman (though he doesnt post much anymore), Texas Dreams, Loryn, Ice, Eric, Sykkboy, Brujah, Will76 (every so often, occassionally I dislike him), A1rek (though his juicy traits are beggining to get annoying), Jace, Lace, Munki and his girl, Jman, Vendzilla, fightthispatent, eroswebmaster, Bm bradley aka wanton, JFK, Sarah (umm English one), Wired Guy (though he doesnt show me any traffic love yet), XXXjay, TDF, Mutt, Antonio, Lightning, Lykos, Nappy, Furiousfemale, Forrest, Equinox, Sly, Notabook, and a few I am forggeting off the top of my head.

Bad thing is my dislike list is at least tripple that if not ten times that amount.

Who is to blame for the rise of Torrent and sites giving content away.

Any serious webmaster respects his customers, hence why I dont fuck them around and I spend a good amount on quality content that they want unavailable elsewhere. However the question was who you respect on GFY and if most of your customers are from here I really feel very sorry for you.
