Also post what hardware your pc has.

Steve Awesome 08-13-2007 07:54 PM

I've been using it for three months and have overcome all issues. What's giving you trouble?

Spunky 08-13-2007 07:56 PM

Mine has been pretty stable..a few minor problems like my logitech trackman stops working from time to time..just minor shit so far

CreatineGuy 08-13-2007 08:19 PM

50% of the software and hardware don't work with Vista...

and don't tell me is the software or hardware manufacturer's fault, cause Microsoft has already anounced a System Pack 1 for Vista to fix those problems..

Slick 08-13-2007 09:15 PM

No problems here, I've been running it since the day it came out :)

Evil1 08-13-2007 09:20 PM

the ONLY problem ive had with vista is it an opera dont play nicely together.. everything else runs fast and perfectly

jakethedog 08-13-2007 09:22 PM

Scott McD 08-13-2007 09:49 PM

I'm sticking with XP for now. Can't be bothered with all that shit just now...

Lance69 08-13-2007 09:53 PM

Fucking hate Vista, perpetual comm surrogate errors?!? every few hours or so and recurs like 30 fucking times while it's happening. Half my software apps get fucked up on my Vista Laptop, but work swimmingly on my XP desktop. (And yes I've tried launching those apps using the XP settings) It never removes my USB drives properly I could go on and on, but I won't 'cause I'm writing this on my XP machine and I'm afraid I'll get physical with my most stable box. <--heh stable box! (Contradiction in terms)

PS This was a clean install on a Vista Ready Machine.

I'm glad I never upgraded from XP.
