I am testing out a few things with my site.

i plan on adding 100+ a day coving all different types of adult and general news that webmasters would want to read. Not counting the articles, blogs, dicussions, and forum posts that others will be making.

Does it look ok? Should I add any categories. I think i need a "Strange & Funny " category and a " Political " category.

Thought it was odd that I came across an article linking to a thread on Oprano, which in turn linked to an article on NYTimes.com. I figure it'd make more sense to link directly to the NY Times article. Just an extra step between me and the complete article.

user submitted post. Typically people would post to the article itself.

I do allow people to post to forums too, but that is more for a thread that is a good discussion and people want to share it.

I think when it comes to forums, it should be for something original. Someone simply posting a portion of an article and then linking to the full article will dilute the quality of VD in my opinion.

i agree 100%, like if it was a good discussion about something that wasn't in the news. etc.

Just like digg, the good stories will get thumbs up and the bad ones will get burried.

Perhaps i will need to take it a step further and set something up like craigslist.

Its just like another board.....
