How did these people not hear a bulldozer coming?

Jeezus even a Cat D5 at 20000lbs is a big loud earthshaking mother... I think I would notice as soon as one was unloaded off the truck in front of my house... Florida huh... probably a couple or really old retired people... the probably can't hear a thing

Thats exactly what I was thinking.. they probably would have slept through it if it was in the middle of the night.
