Let's boycot AFF, Fleshlight, Adbrite, etc - as well as anyone who uses them

From this day onward, I won't be doing business with anyone who uses any of the programs that are known to advertise on torrent sites, *tubes with stolen content, etc.

Current shitlist:
AFF
Fleshlight
Adbrite
Fling.com
...feel free to give suggestions for sponsors to add to the list.

I know, I know... it's only a drop in the bucket. Enough drops can fill a bucket, though, so if you're sick of stolen content too, join me. If you're going to do this as well, state so in this thread, so I can add you to the list.

EdgeXXX 08-13-2007 01:25 PM

Already with you. I pulled all ads and traffic to them when I first found out about all this BS.

jonesonyou 08-13-2007 01:25 PM

are you including the tube sites in this list.

pr0 08-13-2007 01:25 PM

If you really wanted to get into this, you would have to list every company that does business on the internet.

This is getting ridiculous.......everyday with the torrent posts

Not really. I only care about industries I work in. Many people in this industry don't do business with the content rippers.

Yep, that means I'm a hypocrite. So be it.

Klen 08-13-2007 01:36 PM

Yup...you think Puma cries when a copy of "The Island" hits the internet?

You guys are living in a cave.

Corporate sponsors of movies aren't crying, no. The film industry is, though. Just look at the torrent sites they keep shutting down, their lawsuits against people distributing their content, etc.

edit: Nevermind, this argument is ridiculous.

Humpy Leftnut 08-13-2007 01:47 PM

I've never done business with any of the above companies, except Nasty Dollars / Fling.

I hardly see people dropping their ND links anytime soon

That is like saying content-theft on torrentsites is OK, because the hosting company need to earn money. I think you are wrong

Heres how it will work in the future. Forget digital protection.

Commercials as we know them will be gone, they will be worked into the media themselves (Just like "The Island").

Within 5-10 years all forms of entertainment (digital) will contain annoying advertising built into the plot line. This includes video games, movies, television shows & even software.

This will inevitably kick the middle man out of the picture....car dealerships, mattress warehouses, mom & pop stores. But hey, thats already happening isn't it?

Welcome to the 21st century, check your Kleenex at the door & innovate.

Already dropping AFF. I have near a 1:80 unique to free signup ratio with them. I expected much better and I see they expect at least 1:20 for the PPC program which I do not find realistic at all.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

Yes, product endorsements in the content itself will become more popular. However, right now, they can't yet make up for the revenue that would be lost if all content was freely distributed. Look at the revenue in movie tickets that films like Spiderman 3 bring in. It grossed $300+ million in movie tickets in the US alone. Worldwide, including dvd sales and such, it will easily top a billion dollars over time.

sexdatecash.com is good. have a strong network and good payouts

BoyAlley 08-13-2007 02:34 PM

Yep. But when I look at that site, all vids seem to have 2257 info, and every single one I have seen seems be a short preview that links to the site it came from.

And yet you can download Spiderman 1 2 and 3 off any torrent site with ease... hmm

Then why are they being sued by the Titan Media Group, I believe among others, for copyright infringement?

Shouldnt you be sucking a random cock through a hole in a truckstop bathroom? BA if you want to know the full story Ill be glad to discuss it with you. Ill say it again there was no theft, or intention to steal anything. But as per the norm on gfy the bandwagons axles are bending from the weight of the bandwagon jumpers....

We license to AEBN ... that is their answer to trying to get back some of that torrent traffic i am pretty sure. I think they do the samples offer .. kinda like atgp. As a vod company .. i am sure they have taken a hit from torrent sites and are doing their best to prevent the torrents from having all the top placement.

can someone link me to this site?

There are millions of people who do not even know what a "torrent" is. Also, there are millions who do not particularly like the mediocre quality that torrents deliver on movies - especially when those movies are based around special effects.

Torrents actually are a bigger threat to the adult industry, because the adult industry does not sue downloaders (and thus does not scare people away from downloading) and creates products which are most often watched on small screens anyway.

Ok we are on to something here then. Btw I can get near HD quality tv shows and Movies off of torrents. The quality issue no longer applies. A lot of people prefer to watch a movie on their computer or sent via sling box or burnt to a dvd on their tv instead of at a theater with sticky floors and people yelling at the screen.

So adult should go after the torrent sites. Ill get flamed but I dont really care. Its a new delivery system that needs to be developed. Content needs to be protected better. I know I know it cant be done.. blah blah.

chodadog 08-13-2007 03:38 PM

Not doing business with anyone doing business with AFF, Fleshlight and Nasty Dollars/Bang Bros Online (Fling)? Ha-fucking-ha. Throw a link to one of your sites. I guarantee there'll be links to sponsors popping AFF or using them in member's upsells. You're kidding yourself.
