WordPress Issue Qwerstion
I was inputting a link in the blogroll section and when I cut and pasted the link I missed the H, in http://.
I noticed this afterwards, when I pasted the link somewhere else. Anyway, that link will not show up on the site, and it disappeared out of the blogroll, and now for some reason it is fucking up the layout. We have gone through the mysql db, can't seem to locate it in there as well. It just disappeared. I uploaded the theme once again, as well as the WP files, just in case it somehow wrote itself somewhere. Nothing will fix this issue. The site looks fine on page 2, but page one is fucked up. It pushes the whole sidebar down below the rest of the blog. I would hate to have to go and blow up the db, but it's looking like that may be the only solution unless you guys have some ideas. |
Do you have a recent database backup?
I had this occur, and restoring the database from a recent copy fixed it. I had to repost what had taken place since the backup, |

The site is only about a month or so old, if I have to copy every post, it can be done. It would suck serious ass, but I'll live. |
hand scan the files it writes to, its just interferring.... search and destroy

happens a lot with other things in wordpress too, mostly messes up when using embedded java script, but your safest bet is to go through the database with mysql find the table wp_links and edit the respective record in wp_links table
