Shaving: man or myth?
What is everyone's opinion on how big shaving really is? Do the sponsors shave our sales, or is it something that people just bitch about when they're having slow periods? If it happens, do you think everyone does it? Even big, professional companies like ARS?

are signups shaved like crazy? no...do most programs with their own tracking have a shaver built in with the option to use it at will? Yep,and if you want the url to some of the cookie cutter stat programs that a lot of programs use lemme know, just act like your interested in buying and ask if it has a shaving option built in,you would be surprised :)

> that people just bitch about when they're having > slow periods? People bitch when theyre having slow periods.... I dont know about others but I doubt very much ARS would ever shave. They're pretty serious and spot on with their business practices. If you're that worried about it then find out for yourself. ARS let you do test sign ups... its a surefire way to find out for sure. |
Yup, Im sure there are sponsors out there that shave.
But... there are also alot of factors that contribute to it... processor denials, credit card denials, etc. etc. =) Best to just send X amt of clicks to the sponsor, then X amt of clicks to another, then X amt of clicks to another, then X amt of clicks to another... Find who converts your traffic best, and use them till ya get ready to accuse them of shaving... |
Yes. They all shave.
What can you do about it? Open your own affiliate program... And then shave your affiliates. |
I think it's time for some federal regulation.
hahahaha. |
I shave aol IP's.
