Linux experts: IPTABLES question and blocking entire country

I need to block the entire country of Romania from my server through IPTABLES. I have a bunch of IP address ranges for Romania but there's still a hundred or so entries I have to insert into iptables. Unless someone can enlighten me on a better way to get the job done?

Cheers

Would you consider doing through .htaccess?

If you just drop their connection before they get any conversation with the services, you save a tiny bit of overhead and save that slot for a more "desired" visitor. If he's got a rather large influx of this undesired traffic, it could actually be quite a large chunk of overhead in the long run saved. :) You could also just shoot these into oblivion with 'route', without even using iptables. Check this out:
