how can i burn .wmv files to a dvd?
 

I got some live music .wmv files and want to burn them to a DVD for a normal DVD player, anyone know the easy steps?

Nero has a nice software package.

Yeah just copy them to a DVD then finalize the disk. Hell Media player will even do it for you.

Vista makes it easy..update ;)

insert dvd into burner
windows pops up a writable disc folder
drag wmv files into writable disc folder
click burn disc


Now the clincher is does your dvd player support wmv files or even dvdr discs. I know all the new cheapo dvd players support mpg and mp3 but not all of the support wma and wmv

I have an older Toshiba DVD player that does not even play dvdr discs period

So thats where i got a cheapo dvd player at best buy, it supports mpg and mp3 but not windows formats. I think any that you went out and bought today would.

You can use Quicktime in the options there is a convert tool then burn to DVD
