HUH? Did he say retention is up 200%? Or the number of people buying trials are up 200%? Cause more people buying a cheaper trial doesn't really equal out to higher payouts.

The chargebacks will be absurd and it will only bring more attention to the industry from the credit card companies.

Just like free trials were a bad idea... this is a bad idea.

If it was ran properly it could be a good thing. But now everyone and the fucking grandmother is gonna run it into the dirt. Like every other good idea. It wont last long, enjoy it while you can.

Of course it will "convert" to a paid trial....I imagine the surfer has to cancel within the 30 minutes or it automatically switches to a recurring monthly...right? ...Yep, sounds like another landmark in intregity and respectability for the adult industry. (insert sarcasm here!)

All of that should be mandatory.

They dont get billed $49,95 after 30 minutes. they then get billed for a $2.55 trial, and then billed after the trial is over.

Since you did not even look at the join form, here is what it says in big letters under the join button.

There is NO CHARGE for the intial 30 minute preview.
After the preview you will receive a 1 day trial membership for only $2.50(unless cancelled).
Thereafter you will be billed $40.00 every 1 month(s) until cancelled.

Then perhaps a rewording of the terms and conditions is in order:

Membership Renews Automatically at $40.00 every 1 month Until Cancelled...

So which does the surfer believe...30 minutes or 30 days..big difference...and a big surprise if they go by the terms & conditions.

Also, here's another clause:

If you purchase a trial subscription, and decide to terminate your trial subscription, you must do so AT LEAST one (1) day prior to the end of the Trial Period and you will not be charged any further

Pretty hard to do, when the trial only lasts 30 minutes or 1 day.
