Surfers, movies sites and dial-up
 

On my message board in the members area of mywhiteteens.com, a surfers says this, "I am very disappointed...takes forever to download clips...any way to speed up....if not I am canceling immediately..." I replied, "All videos will be redone in mpg form and they will be 1minute clips each. If you're still using dial-up, the vid's will take forever to download... I agree! Get dsl, broadband, cable, T1 etc... then you won't post your threating comment."

I guess my comment is, Why do surfers join movie sites on dial-up? Some can't be this niave... can they??

You do have dialup and broadband streams available, I assume?

Are you kidding? Take 1000 people off the street and half of them are dumber than average. Same thing with computers, even more so. 8)

I never streamed my vids for dialup or for any medium.... I have mpg's and avi's. Soon, ALL my vids will be mpgs.

A streaming option can help with retention, especially with members on dialup. The 1 minute MPEG with broadband and dialup streams is a good model to follow. :2 cents:
