Fastest ways to generate income
 

Hi,
I am a webdesigner , i know a bit about marketing , seo , html , css all that crap.
Ok here is the deal... I kinda quit my job... i have some money in the bank for the next 4-7 months without problem along with a bit of money to invest ( buying traffic ? ).

I wanted to start different project, i have lots of ideas, that is why i quit my job, sick of working for someone and not getting paid for ideas that make lots of money...

Now, im looking for the fastest ways to generate money... So i thought porn.
But what should i start with...
I dont want to create an Empire and rule the internet porn, i just want something that will be able to generate some money to cover my monthly spendings to start with( rent + food + all the crap = 700$ canadian ). I will work has much has needed.

Please give your advices, and as much details has possible... I have a friend who might give me a hand if needed also.

Also join some of the programs and start developing your own sites.

He made me a free site once. That was all fine, but when ordering the next ones (headers +) he said no problem, and that he'll be done tonight or tomorrow. Never heard from him after that.

Avoid listing to 90% of the people on GFY ? and buy yourself some books !

Yea get a good associate program... and buy traffic to such... stay away from tgp/mgps as to drive traffic to your associate pages... tgp/mgps can take a lot of time to setup and to grow and can be costly and do not have good numbers with it comes to converting... ( known fact ) Using Search engines are good, however the volume is not always steady and you will have issues with search engines positions...

Don't take my word for it do some research for yourself... writeup a business plan and have someone look it over for you... this will help discover hidden problems... and will give you an idea of your potential income using some stats...

The cheapest way to start earning is by getting yourself a free blog, on www.pimpis.com if you want, joining a sponsor, filling the blog with content and RSS feeds, and link exchanging with other blog owners. You could get your first sale in a week, without spending a dime.

You know that sounds like an interesting experiment that I'm going to try.

Even better I think is to simply hit wordpress.org download their blog system or if you have Fantastico in your hosting install it from there. Buy yourself a slick niche themed blog template - plenty of peeps in here selling them.

Get a little content and combined it with some sponsors content & rss feeds and your away! I just prefer it this way, I own the domain, site and can control things myself plus wordpress is a wicked simple CMS.

- Note: I'm sure tho the free hosted blogs might be a good way to feed traffic back to your own sites/blogs and use em simply as traffic feeders.

$700/month covers rent, food and other cap where you live? Shit, when I leave you're LUCKY if you get an OK ONE bedroom apartment for $700.. $650 and lower will get you a complete shit hole.

I dont think i want "design jobs" , Im looking for a way to make money, on monthly basis.

I know what wordpress is... i used it alot, its pretty good i like it, but someone told me its better to use other blogs because you get to ride on their "notoriety" (page rank status ) rather than build your own... and you get indexed faster... I dont know , i think its more worth it to start your own wp site but what do u guys think ?

Also, for TGP / MGP , ive got a few people who told me that i needed this... that it would help alot for traffic...

So you guys think i should start a blog, put a few ads on it, link to other pay sites where i get commission for each subscription... But, what content do i put on the blog... what works and doesnt ? will i have to create all the content myself , this seams a bit teadious, especialy since blogs are supposed to be updated very frequently...

To start, Ive got maybe 200$(more if i get a friend's help) i can put on advertising, its not alot, but again, all I am aiming for is something around 700$ a month, if my investment give good return, i will simply put more money...

That wouldn't cover a house payment and utilities.

Medical insurance for g/f and myself is $1400/mo (Live in the states)

Food/booze?

Drive a car? Have it insured?

Could go on, but think everyone here has a feel for it.

AHaha no dude, come live in montreal,
I am 25, i Live with 2 other friend in appartment in montreal, we have this really cheap place ( but still nice ), cost me 250$/m ( total 750$ for us 3 ) , We "hacked" the cable/internet from the people living downstairs ( with their conscent ), hmm i pay 70$ of electricity, then there is food, about 50-60 /week so 200-240 , that comes up to 580, then there is all the extra things, beer, weed, bus ticket, cell phone ( no home phone line ) and what not, sometimes i spend less on food it depends sometimes i spend abit more... I "paused" all my RSP / investment pre-authorised withdrawals from banks ...
So yes, ABOUT 700$... max 1000$ in bad months.

that is why i said 4-6 month, i can probably go longer but i dont know how much money i will need to invest...

So guys, Im still looking for ideas, BTW if anyone is willing to help, on like a more personal basis, thru msn, or mail, or chat webcam. I would be willing to pay, if its like good advices n stuff... ;)

Where I live you get a complete shithole for $1200, and quite a nice place for around $1600.

pick a crazy converting niche, design a kick ass landing page, add traffic...done...

as for what niches convert sickeningly well...if you catch me in a good mood on Monday (shoot me an email I'm out for the weekend soon)...I'll send you 2-3 that I know do quite well. You can take some PPC and some other traffic gen stuff and pull in the cash you want...really not that hard to hit the #s you were talking about.

build something... get it out there. even if it's not perfect. This is one thing I wish I would have done more when I started. Instead I spent too much time just customizing and not just getting it out there and functioning at least at some level.
