Corrie star calls for porno site shutdown
 

'Coronation Street' star Tina O'Brien has begged TV bosses to shut down porn sites using steamy false images of her.

The TV star has been left fuming and humiliated after discovering she has been portrayed as a lesbian on a series of adult Internet websites.

Other fantasy sites are using mock-up images of her having sex with her 'Coronation Street' co-stars.

The 23-year-old actress, who plays Sarah Platt in the hit soap, has asked ITV bosses to help her get these images banned.

A TV executive said: "It is very upsetting for Tina to be degraded on the Internet in this way.

"We are appalled. We will study the copyright implications of perverts using our characters in this way."

Earlier this year, Tina announced she was quitting the soap to star in a pantomime at the Manchester Opera House in December.

She initially feared Corrie bosses would kill off her character but is delighted she has been given the option to return.
