Naked Trio Stuck In Lift
 

Firefighters copped an unwanted eyeful when they rescued three naked men from a lift. The lift, in the Trav-elodge Hotel on Newcastle Quayside, jammed at 2.50am this morning trapping the three revellers-including a father and son - inside. Crews from the Foss-way station were called and launched a rescue operation to free the men-a man in his 40s, his son and a friend, both in their 20s.

After 10 minutes they were able to free the trio, who were panicking and screaming.

But when the doors drew back the firefighters were surprised to find the three were naked.

A fire service spokesman confirmed: "There were three male adults trapped in the lift. They had been in about 10 minutes but were really panicking and screaming.
