http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-1877 this is a bill that will legally allow vets and those currently in the armed service to salute the flag while not in uniform, not just place your hand over your heart. I think this is something that should have always been this way!

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

I have mixed emotions about this.
While I believe in respect for the flag, I've also thought that special attention should be given to those out of uniform. Out of uniform you do not salute and that's that.

It's passed in the senate, waiting on the house, being a vet I believe that saluting is the proper thing to do.
