I just hope the story is good enough to justify another sequel....or is this maybe a prequel?

What other horror movies are you guys looking forward to this year?

For me:
Halloween - Rob Zombie
Diary of the Dead - George Romaro
Hatchet -- http://hatchetmovie.com (has the actors who played Jason, Freddy and Candyman...got a standing ovation at premier)
and
Mother of Tears - Dario Argento

I haven't see 1 - 3.

I thought the other saw movies weren't any good. They should stop making them now.

I never liked Saw or any of its sequels. Hostel's still the best.

I think a SAW 4 is completely unnecessary. I dont get it.
The third one wrapped it up very nicely.

i loved the first saw, thought the second was okay.. and thought less of the third. hopefully the fourth movie will rock. :)

I'm looking forward to Saw 4, but mainly because a lot of the same people are attached. What's interesting about these movies is they use almost the same exact crew for every movie and even use the same background extras. It's something little that you don't even really notice, but adds a sense of continuity.

Other horror movies i'm looking forward to:
Halloween
The Host (although I doubt it will make it to Vegas before it hits DVD shelves)
Mother of Tears (Argento is God)
Gutterballs (a psycho killer in a bowling alley...count me in)
The Eye (as much as I hate remakes, I love the original and just pray they can keep the same creepy tone and the tension in the elevator scene...)

They filmed most of the Saw 1-3 scenes down the street from me.... and a friend of mine worked on Diary of the Dead, so I'm trying to get passes to the premier...
The Host is pretty good....and I'm waiting on Cloverleaf early next year too (seems kinda similar)
The original version of The Eye was good too, hope they keep the same atmosphere.
