CC Bill Q
Does anyone know the difference between a refund and a chargeback?
|
A refund would imply that cc bill gave the customer a refund to their cc, probably because they called and requested it.
a chargeback means the customer disputed the charge directly to their credit card company, probably saying they didn't authorize the charge. A chargeback generall also entails a $25 fee in addition to the money refunded to their card. Chargebacks are bad, refunds are good if you had to choose between the two. |
I believe a chargeback is when the customer calls his credit card company and tells him he wants his money back <insert reason here>.
A refund is then the customer contacts CCBill and does same. Im 90% sure... |
Thanks! :)

Refunds much better and cheaper than a chargeback :)
