Florida Internext: Was it worth it?
 

It used to be my favorite show. Seems like it got really small this year, boring too. I think I'm going to start slowing down on going to shows.

i thought it was a great show.

It was alright.

Yes, a great event on many levels. New folks, new opportunities and a few events that were great for new business: Mansion Boat Party was one of the events that I'll remember, as well as the TPC Eagle Trace golf trip. I was also happy with the weather, not too sticky, perfect to chill by the pool and network all day and night. :)

The show was smaller, but overall I thought it was one of the better shows i've been to as far as business is concerned

I slowed down before slowing down was cool..

Used to go to every show. All the Internext shows even before it was called internext.

Burnout..

Only do one show per year now.

It was alright.. I didn't really enjoy the ying yang twins.. I think the phx show is the best

This past show was much more productive then the last two years in FL. I thought it was a much better show this year!

to be honest, it was personally my least favorite show i've ever attended, i've attended it in 04 and 05 and was much better

i was extremely happy with the way it turned out, we lauched our site..partied our ass off at our pool..met some cool ass people and most importantly, conducted a ton of business. show could of been bigger or smaller..we still did our thing.

a show without xxxjay freestylin' ain't as good as it could have been.

For business this show was awesome! It was well worth packing 4 employees across country to conduct our meetings. :winkwink: Also my first time ever in Florida so I'm a little bit jaded on the subject.

I found the show to be smaller, more intimate and a lot more productive then some of the other shows as far as business goes. However, a lot of people I would have liked to have done business with weren't in attendance.

I think mostwanteddomains should stay the fuck out of the adult business and never show their face again, but it was a great time and got lots of business done.

I actually got a lot of business done and had a great time.

I had a great time. I heard that previous years were bigger, but I got some biz done and some really good networking too. Couldn't have really asked for much more.

I actually liked it better than previous years, but it seemed like everything was pretty confined to the hotel. I would have liked to see some outings away from the resort.

ZMASTER did some great business at this show. Maybe they should close down the floor next year and just have the cabanas, whudyathink?

I thought it was a smaller show than I remember. I remember attending IA2000 back in the day. I went to internext in New Orleans several years ago. This was our first show since then, and it seems to me that exhibits are less, and the focus is more on networking parties and cabanas. Not sure if this will be the case in January in Vegas, but that is just my impression of the Fla show.

By the way Triple10Hec, I dug your ad in the pool and the big pool tent. Made me want to check out your site. How come your sig banner isn't an active link? Nice job though! :thumbsup

I'll proberly go check out the Phoenix one next year hoping it's better :)

Show was great for us... def. smaller than some of the past gatherings, but they are what you make of them.

Went to it ONCE. was a waste of money.

It was smaller then it has been the previous years, but I still enjoyed it and got alot of business done, maybe even more than usual, so it worked out.

was it worth to spend fortunes on drinks? nooo, but we had a hell of a time :upsidedow
miami/hollywood always threats us nice with sun, drinks and girls

I was a Florida virgin until this trip. I heard from lots of people that it was much smaller than years past, but I had a great time and met a TON of new people. Seems that it was more conducive to just hanging out and really getting to know people/networking. I too wish there were other events outside of the hotel. But all in all, it was a great time and, come on, you can't beat that hotel even if they did jack up the prices for everything!

I was toldd it was smaller than last year, but since It was my first, that was in my advantage. With not to many people around, everybody actallu had time to sit down and talk, instead of jumping from conversation to conversation.

It was really interesting and very much worth it.

This year was quieter then previous shows, but we still did some good business and met a lot of new friends.

We also gave away a lot of promotional stuff and I think everyone loved our bags!

This show was quite a bit smaller than last year, but I did actually close a few deals at this show making it worthwhile. I like it because it's close to home (Tampa).


I met some really great people at this show that I was never able to talk to before. It was nice to see the Dutch webmasters out in full force. I drank a lot less at this show than the ones in the past, perhaps thats why I got more business done! lol
