100% anon, no IP tracking for confessions.

The voting and comments system isn't active yet, prob tonight it'll all be done, but it's open for submissions.

Also, I know this being GFY I'll get people submitting some pretty fucked up shit that's fake, but if you're going to do that, try to at least make it likely that it's real, not that you stole a lambo and ran over schoolchildren with a stoned Laura Bush in the passenger seat.

Yea I understand that, I just threw up a CSS that I already had.

Yea, I was thinking about that. The solution may be to moderate submissions and just kill anything that is that crazy before they go live.

Edit: actually, because I'm not tracking IP's in my database, doesn't mean that the server isn't. If someone said something truly dangerous like that, it would be possible to look up in the server stats that info, and I'd still be telling the truth that I don't track IPs in my DB.

That, or save the IP anyway just in case.

You might want to change the "this site does not track IP" statement then, though. Because it actually does track it (through the server), and the last thing you want is some sick fuck filing a lawsuit against you for outing him to the police.

You could just choose to record IP with the script, and change the statement into something like "we will not publish your IP".

there is a script that is specifically for a site like this. will save you alot of time and work.
