Where is AVS at these days any networks with real traffic

Anyone here doing well with AVS and AVS programe owners willing to post his numbers of members?

baddog 08-06-2007 06:34 PM

This isn't 1999. Bring your own traffic if you want to succeed.

Dennis69 08-06-2007 06:42 PM

AVS is still alive but if you don't plan on feeding your sites then I'd suggest you try something else!

tranza 08-06-2007 07:12 PM

Here's a bump for you..... Every now and then I think about opening a new AVS site too...

CyberHustler 08-06-2007 07:17 PM

wtf is an AVS site?

Yes, I am a noob... :321GFY

Pornwolf 08-06-2007 07:49 PM

Shame that AVS traffic used to be gold

Gold is an understatement. Between Adult Check and Sexkey you could buy a house in Beverly Hills from your sites without having to send a click.

Not that I, umm err, used to do that myself of course. *cough cough*

Yes, I am a noob...

AVS is "Adult Verification System," also known as AEN "Adult Entertainment Network."

It is a network of hundreds or thousands of small adult sites that you can access for one price with one password.

Example: NetVerifier.com

Back in the day if you built an AVS site you would get traffic from the AVS system's own link list.

Craig T 08-06-2007 09:46 PM

I agree that bringing traffic will bring you more success, but if you can find a strong niche, and have exclusive content with a compelling story you can garner traffic from anyone....

Try my friends at Sexkey, Adam can explain in detail....They are a free avs system that still has a ton of daily traffic.

gleem 08-06-2007 09:57 PM

ohhh... the days of making a site a day in about 30 minutes and taking home $50k a month just posting em... so very very very gone :(

back then the biggest problem was getting approved and dealing with elitist site approvers *cough* AC Edison

If you are still making money off AVS it must be diamonds by the looks of the traffic LOL

Actually I do AVS through Cyberage, and their link traffic rocks. Of course long gone are the days when you could throw up a site and collect the checks. Now its about getting traffic to your sites.

Lately CyberageDave listed a full page ad on sex.com to draw traffic to Cyberage's link list. That was some sweet traffic that converted very well for me. But then, don't listen to me, heck listen to the people who don't do AVS, you'll always learn something that way.

Oh and by the way, my first avs site when up in 1997

How many uniques a day does it get?

steved 08-06-2007 11:20 PM

ProAdult is the only AEN sending me decent amounts of converting traffic from their listings. They haven't missed a pay day since they started:)

steved 08-06-2007 11:27 PM

If you sign up for ProAdult and can make exclusive content, videos and pics, you can make some decent money by promoting your ProAdult site on RedClouds, HomeClips, and VoyeurWeb. Just follow the content submission rules, and you will get some nice traffic.

Like I said . . . bring your own traffic. It all converts

Horny Dude 08-07-2007 12:24 AM

I used to promote my AVS sites more, but lately I have been to busy. CyberAge still has some good traffic, not like the old days, but what is. Rebills still kick ass with them.

bobby666 08-07-2007 01:19 AM

i did some weeks ago an alexa search about avs sites and traffic

just done for myself to get an overview - here are the results:

Traffic Rank for proadult.com: 28,359
Traffic Rank for sexkey.com: 28,671
Traffic Rank for cyberage.com: 39,769
Traffic Rank for netverifier.com: 62,295
Traffic Rank for freenetpass.com: 81,255
Traffic Rank for cybersexnetwork.com: 162,528
Traffic Rank for xxxsexticket.com: 291,334
Traffic Rank for bxdx.com: 397,286
Traffic Rank for universalpass.com: 421,923

but now there's the open question: is it easier to get a sale on a not so saturated site or is it even harder to get a sale on a traffic site as proadult ?

I still do very well each month with CyberAge sites but I don't rely on their list traffic. I go out and get my own traffic..that is how it works these days.

I'm sure you can make alot of money with the right system, no different than building your own little paysite except alot lower startup costs.

BUT you can't make a bunch of template sites and leech off the linklist like you did in the old days, you need to build your AVS sites and then go out and promote them like you would promote a paysite.

Our most successful affiliates build one nice site and promote it.

With GFY being mostly TGP Webmaster and site owners, you guys rely on heavy traffic for that 1:5000 Sale. AVS used to convert at about 1:40 - 1:100. Especially in our Platinum Upsells. It was free money.

It's hard to explain to you guys around here that it does very well still. You guys wouldn't really understand because you are so focused on giving away everything for free and hoping to get that one conversion.

We have been at it for 12 years, CyberAge.com, CyberSexNetwork.com and UGAS.com Very strong sales. Not as good as 1998 - 2002. But sales are very good.

For a lot of you quiet ones reading this, you know what I?m talking about. But for those of you who think AVS is dead, That is something just stuck in your head and you are missing out on some extra Cash Flow.

Time to think outside the BOX if you want to survive in this biz.

Oh, BTW. We were sending almost all the traffic from Sex.com to our links pages and that traffic converted almost as good as the traffic from the early years. Like always, we take care of our Webmasters.

Thanks Sex.com :thumbsup

Let me know if you need help setting up some sites, AVS/AEN is my specialty. :thumbsup

Aquarius 08-09-2007 04:59 PM

You got to get your own traffic now.

Voodoo 08-09-2007 05:05 PM

My last period check for my AVS sites was a handsome 5 figures.

$00,000

AVS died with AdultCheck Gold, only a couple other places stayed afloat, but it's no longer a viable option.

Yeah, don't ever say that again on a forum where people actually read. Makes you look bad.
Use your company name and keep it that way.
If you don't have facts, don't speculate.

The almighty rebill is the key with AVS now. The rebills are still better than with regular paysites.

Very True,

We still pay 110% payouts and 20 bucks rebill month and month on CyberSexNetwork.com

Rebills go on for years and years.

Voodoo 08-09-2007 05:23 PM

CyberAge happens to be one that stayed afloat. :) But I never did the same numbers I used to do with AC. I still use CyberAge though, and ProAdult. I've tried a few others, that never really did much, so I dropped them. But in today's market, there's easier / faster ways to earn $, than to post to AVS systems. Just my opinions of course, not knocking anyone at all. For some, AVS might do very well, but for me, it's not very viable (To clarify).
