Veoh's looking to get sued for millions it seems. in the end the DMCA is going to be re-written and sites will be responsible for the videos user upload. no way Fox should have to deal with that shit - and neither should we in porn.

There are quite a bit of these sites up. Until something huge happens and some company sues the fuck out of another one it isn't going to change. Then it still will only make a small dent pry

The problem is coming up with a law that wont stifle innovation, while protecting content producers at the same time.

A lot of people *hate* the DMCA, and its been grossly abused since it was created. I wouldnt be sad to see the law go. Since the DMCA, many researchers wont even step foot in the united states for fear of being prosecuted.

Its hard to make laws that would enable you to go after bittorrent sites, that wouldnt also take out anyone any kind of legit user generated content portal, or make things like Google, illegal.

makes sense cause all their movies are hosted by google video and youtube.

That domain is registered to a company in Panama and the sites hosted in Hong Kong :)
