Looking for an investor in a gay pay site
 

I've got a very good friend who's been running gay AVS site for a few years. It's #1 on yahoo/google for its niche and has been #1 for two to three years. It has established traffic from 6-8k uniques/day.

My friend would like to turn it into a pay site. From what I?ve seen it looks likes he done his homework in terms of locating content, an isp, site designers etc. I?ve seen his business plan and it looks good to me.

What he doesn?t have though is the cash. He does have the drive and determination to make it a success. He?s looking for an investor that would help with working capital loan with the usual sort of conditions. I believe he?d also be open to the investor(s) taking an equity position.

So if anyone here is interested in taking a position or knows of someone who knows someone who might be interested (or who just wants to give advice ? he?s a nice guy, if a bit shy, who?s always interested in listening to advice), give me a shout on ICQ at 848616. Uh... cash to do what? He's already got the hosting, a fair amount of content, and plenty of traffic. What else does he need? A new design, ok, $500-1k. Then what?

An AVS with such good traffic and a good history, should have the few thousand dollars he would need to start it up. Does he not want to skip parties for a month, or what?

mind u i'm not sure if that included an affiliate site... i'll have to ask... i do know that he wants it to look great.
