Anyone know the shelf life of a can of coca-cola?
 

I was cleaning out my garage, found a few cases must be over a few years old.

I could use a Jack & Coke right about now...

They are vacuum preserved, right? Plus all the chemicals... I say go ahead and take a swig. Just wipe off the outside of the can or rinse it off first.

If the cans aren't leaking, they're still good. Coke's got phosphoric acid in it. :glugglug

I bought a 2 litre bottle of Coke from a local hick variety store a few years back. When I went to open it I noticed it had advertising for the Olympics on it. Well the most recent Olympics took place over 3 years prior. So that was one hell of an old bottle of Coke. I took a sip just to satisfy morbid curiousity and it was totally rotten.

Maybe cans would fare better since they are shielded from the sunlight.
