Newbie question: domain values

I'm getting into the domain game and I've registered a few. I was wondering if I did good or are they worthless. Here they are:

ClubFling.com
CoupleCamz.com
FuckMePersonals.com
SpicyPlaymates.com

Thank you for your advice.

Yes they are all quite good. $50 each to the right buyer.

worth whatever somebody wants to pay.

Some quite good ones there.

Also just got:

FreshGayContent.com

For me clubfling.com is the pick of the bunch and could be worth a few hundred plus to the right buyer. I'd say the rest are ok but would be suprised if they fetch more than a hundred each. All in all I'd say you've made a decent start in the domain game.

I like SpicyPlaymates.com

They are ok.
But don't look for a rush of buyers.
Name speculators would pass them up but someone looking to build a website could pay between $50 and $200.

A serious offer of $100 should be accepted.

All of them are worth registering. But what you actually trying to do? If you are looking to make decent money with them by reselling, forget it. If you want to develop, then they are pretty good ones.

I'm definately looking to sell. I think if someone's looking to build a site - they would be willing to pay from $100 to $500 for something like this. I would.

If it's available to be registered then it has no real value for the most part.

The only domains you should register are ones you plan to develop. If you're just registering domains to turn around and resell them, you're really wasting your time.

If someone is looking to build a site, what makes you think they can't think of something just as good or better that's available for $8?

There's no money in domains.

Playboy doesn't own any trademarks for Playmates btw.

It all depends how you do it and how much time you spend on it. I got my process very much automated. Plus, when people want to start a site ( and they do all the time ) - they're usually willing to pay a couple of hundred of bucks, don't you think?

Playmates could me anything. It's a good word for a personals site or even an AFF affiliate gateway.

I know what you are saying here but time and time again I see two and three word combo domain names with a reg date of only 1 to 2 years old being sold for $1,000 plus sums. It's all just a matter of getting to know the domain biz, having an eye for a good name and then being patient enought to wait for the right buyer.

Domains are worthless, as is your sense of sarcasm.

http://www.uspto.gov search 'playmates' under 'Trademarks' for more ideas.

Can all morons stop replying to this thread. I don't want this to LITERARILY turn to shit.

The way people get domains is more clever than you think. There are good value domains that expire and if you pick them up on time - they can be a great value to others and you can still make a few hudred dollars off of them.

baycouples 08-05-2007 02:29 AM

I got another one:

UndressedVideos.com
