Are porn blogs where it's at now or is it the ease of set up?

Is porn blogging is where it's (the online porn $$$) at now, or are they popular because it is so easy to set up a blog now a days? I don't mean to offend bloggers, I'm sure there is work to be done just like with any site. Just curious, whats the deal here, should I be getting on the blog train now before it's too mainstream?

Ease of set up for amateurs.

Some of those stupid people are running blogs with stolen content and aren't even smart enough to run affiliate links through the content.

Too much free - there is no wonder why no one pays for porn any more

Makes sense to me. I was talking on the phone with a buddy about that yesterday actually. Why pay for something you can get for free. I mean what do porn surfers really use it for? To bust a nut. Which can be accomplished in 5 minutes with a few good pics from a gallery or a clip from a place like pornotube. Sucks...time for some innovation.

Blogs can be good if you know what the fuck you're doing.

Optimizing it, a decent design (non-template), submitting to link dumps, the right link exchanges with similar sites and buying up a couple of plugs to send some decent traffic to it.

If you're going to set one up and expect the search engine traffic to come flooding in as suggested above......good luck to you. You'll end up abandoning the thing in 2 months time.
