Okay my account is suspended yah yah yah at this point whatever were all used to the epass shit right? Well over the past 6 months someone I know on gfy has sent me $158.00 dollars. Long story short my account is now suspended because that guys account was accused of fruad and now they are saying i need to pass epassporte back for the $158.00 dollars that was sent to me. What is that? Is this legal? I had nothing to do with this bullshit.

Unfortunately that's pretty standard, if you receive stolen funds/good from anyone in "real life", you generally don't get to keep it either.

yeah it sucks, but that's just the way it goes sadly. i've gotten hit with chargeback with my merchant account 6 months after the fact.

dont use Epassport. call AP or reutuers or big news corp and report them. They'll will be closed down in just about time .
Last time I sent a reporter at NBC news about something and that shit got shut down immediately . you tell them if they dont refund you the 158 $ they'll be on NEWS .

You are pretty lucky only $158. That not a fortune. I am happy with ePassporte - no its better to say I love epassporte. No more stupid cheques and have to pay the bank half of the small cheques :thumbsup

but really, at this point why are you still using epass if you've had so many problems with them?

Funny how that happens. I have been waiting almost 8 months to hear back from them on something that was only suppose to take 3 weeks. Waaaaaaaaaaay back in December, 2 transactions that I made here in Canada were charged in USD, so not only did their bank charge me in USD they also charged me to convert the funds from CND$ to USD...So that cost me a couple $100 Canadian dollars. I have spoken to both the banks where i made the transactions and this is an epass issue or banking issue, that is still waiting to be resolved. So I am not surprised that it's taken them this long to figure out the fraud thing!
