What language is your main one, and what others do you speak?

Czech , english and bit of russian (studied in scholl for 8 years but forgot almost everything)

Ehhhh a bit of english and dutch some chinese and i can manage in german.

English and Maori. My mum is Maori, I speak basic Maori.

Portuguese is my primary language...but not bad english!

English, I spoke Spanish when I was a kid and used to speak German pretty good, but I've lost both of them now. Just Engrish for me.

Most people from Europe can speak two minimum. Even if they think they are shit at one they can get by in that country.

I know the basics of Spanish and French and I would say most Europeans know bit of English, Spanish and French. We do avoid German.

Few ones here.. Engrish, fucking Macedonian, Serbo-Croatian (You can split it to Serbian and Croatian :1orglaugh), Bulgarian, Albanian.. Little Romanian, Italian and German.. And yeah, Spanish.

Now learning Japanese :upsidedow

Well, even my mothers language is worthless for my biz, I would never want to abandon it - it's so many ways how you can play with words and different dialects, but I guess it's the same with every language to be your mothers language.

I would put the question a bit differently, how did you learned your second language and how did you practice?

For example, a bit of a paradox is, that I have never visited ANY English speaking country till january this year, when I was in the States (although I have traveled almost the whole Europe and once counted 20 different countries).

Fluently Dutch, English, Spanish, German, French and understand enough
Italian and Portuguese to get by. And if I would go by US standards of Mastering
another language....you could add a truckload more :1orglaugh
