Prague and the other town not too far from there in CZ REP is on my list next to London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin the next time I will be in Europe.

As most of you know I am an Aussie who has been living in the Czech Rep for 14 years and I can honestly say it's a great place to live and visit but as the article says as in most large cities you have to be careful of your belongings.

Apart from that the women are hot and the beer is cheap :thumbsup

i went to prague a couple weeks ago for a few days, wasnt overly impressed.

never been robbed in any american or western european city, dont even worry about it, in fact. only place i see 'pick pocket' signs and warnings about them is Italy and ex-communist states. prague was the worst i have seen, TBH. if they spent as much time solving the problem as they have spent helping to warn people about it, it might be solved by now. 'beware of pickpockets' was everywhere in that city.

I learned the hard way. STINKING drunk, stumbling home, fucking Gypsy junky whore walks up and grabs a big hand full of cock and balls, asking me if I want a "sexy blowjob". Im too busy laughing and trying to get away to notice the other hand had boosted my ipod. Live and learn.

Prague has a ton of pickpockets. But it isnt the Czechs doing it, its the fucking gypsies. I used to wonder why Hitler wanted to wipe the Gypsies from the earth, I no longer ponder that question. Nothing but junky fucking thieves. And they sell fake hash, never buy drugs from the Gypsies.

BUT. If you ever want to buy a great new phone for dirt cheap thats been freshly boosted from a drunk English tourist, gypsies. My girlfriend just scored a great one.

There are too many English in this city. Blame EasyJet, you can get from london to prague in an hour for about what you would spend on one night of drinking in England. Im an American and Prague is dirt fucking cheap, its ridiculously cheap for the English. The Czech Republic is to the English what Mexico is to the Americans. Just a place to go for cheap shit and to get stinking drunk. Except the women are waaaaaay hotter. The Czechs know why we are here. To try and fuck their hot women and drink their absurdly cheap yet quality pivo. And for that they will always hate us. Cheap quality drugs are everywhere. Ive been caught smoking joints in the center by Czech cops and they do absolutely nothing, they just keep on walking. There is so much sleaze in this city. There are two types of tourists in Prague. The ones who are here to check out the castle and the old town, and those hunched over a toilet mirror in LeClan at 10 am.

I been at brno and i can tell you it suck.

I had a friend from Latvia once. She was a gymnast.. boy could she stretch.

Plzen isnt so great either. Kutna Hora is awesome. Its like a smaller, cheaper Prague. And it has pretty sweet ossuary.

Actually at my last job I had 2 british workmates that lived in France and they often told me that they were very proud to be British until they became ashamed of being so when they saw (from a "local" point of view) how many brit tourists behave in France.

I think they have a problem in Miami with tourist getting shot, I lived in London most of my life and I would say you're safer here.

Mate I have to disagree with you when it comes to Plzen, from the 14 years I have lived in Czech 13 of them has been here in Plzen - great young women due to Plzen being an uni town and also the Gambrinus beer is made here! :)

So Americans aren't the only tourists that locals hate ;)
