I sold baseball cards at a flea market as a teen. Made $100 every Sunday which doubled my income from McDonald's.

Mowing Lawns.

bought nhl cards and sold em to stupid kinds in school for 10 times their value...
after that i had warez/mp3 sites, that was the first time i was making real money....

A few years ago I dropped out of the online adult scene and started selling sunglasses online.

At the beginning of this year, my sunglasses business fell apart at the seams and I got back into the adult biz. Now, I am doing both.

I sold greeting cards and Grit around the neighborhood just so I could get my Blackstone Magic set, then did the lawn mowing / snow shoveling seasonal gigs.

I also made homemade cinnamon candy and sold it in school in little ziplock bags to the kids in 5th and 6th grade, the principal told my mom but she didn't have any problem with me slingin' sacks :winkwink: My shit was da bomb!! :thumbsup

Before I got into the adult biz at all - I was working mainly in sales. I sold everything from Craftmatic Adjustable Beds, to cars.

I also was a cook. I've cooked everywhere from small pizza joints to nice resturants. I also have bartended - sold home alarm systems - I was a collection agent (only for a few weeks!) - I was involved in Amway (what a scam) - I've done roofing - I was a mechanical assembler - and, yes - I've cut lawns too.

My first business was selling Personal Self Defense Products (stun guns, mace, pepper spray, keychain alarms, etc) to women via mail order and home parties. It did great for about five years, until various states started enacting specific laws against these items and it really put a cramp into the mail order side of our business (which was our big money maker).

It was good while it lasted though, so I've got no complaints. :)

Embarassed now sure, but I made a killing. When I was 17 I even bought a trip to Toronto and back just to acquire some cards I could sell here for a good money..:1orglaugh

Too bad I collected Felix Potvin cards myself, them suckers have lost all their value by now. I have like 400 different potvin cards in my bookshelf.. :1orglaugh

I ran an electronic BBS running dlx platform in 1988. It died when I moved up north to go to college. Made some cash via monthly memberships.

Ran a BBS when i was 16, (1994) had an '18+ only' section and one guy paid me 5 bucks and sent a photocopy of his drivers licence to my home addy to access my crappy pics. I later realised he was the local petrol (gas) station dood. I gave him shit.:thumbsup

What platform? Wildcat? WWIV? DLX? BBS Rule! heheheh I remember those days, such a huge variety of boards. Boards that just sold drugs, boards that hooked up escorts, dating boards, race boards, you name it. The ANSI version of the Net :)

I had a RemoteAccess 2.02 BBS for ages :) that thing ruled.. crazy batch files running frontdoor to dial up the local fidonet hub each night and download the fidomail! All at 2400 baud :1orglaugh Aaah those were the days :glugglug

I often wonder if there are still good ANSI artists out there.. there was lotsa awesome stuff around back then.. how bout some ANSI porn sites!

In 4th grade, I used to sell those NFL football pencils....I would buy a 50 pack for $2 and sell the pencils 2 for 25 cents

I also sold Grit, and in high school, a couple friends I used to do haunted houses for halloween and we'd make a couple hundred a piece and had fun trying to be over the top....

we also wrote a booklet on how to build a financially successful haunted house and sold it through ads in the National Enquirer and Fangoria magazine....I made money by tiny classifieds ads.....lol...I was Don LePre before Don was Don (I just neglected to go that next step and sell a book telling people to write and sell books via tiny classified ads) ;)

Oh, yeah! I remember those. Did you ever get the football helmet pencil sharpeners? I invented a game where teams played each other by crashing the face masks against each other. Whichever face mask came off first lost the game. What can I say? I was obsessed by football. The fucking Saints won my league.

The one and only person to ever run a bookstore in Rush Limbaugh's favorite town. I had a book/card/comic/gift shop for 5 years til I moved up the hills .

1st job...I slung pizzas at Chuck-e-Cheese summer of 8th grade and then graduated in HS to selling books door-to-door...

At school I used to make them little concrete ornaments (squirrels and shit) painted them and sold them to fools... The first business I started making ok money with though was good old lingerie and sex toys :Graucho

at 16 I used to Distribute parts from the UK into North America for Radio Control Racing Cars. I was a sponsored racer at that time as well and used to tour around racing offroad r/c cars while I was in school.

Turboface, I feel like i'm in the same boat as you....Back in the day, I used to sell basebcall cards at Sports Card Shows every Sunday. I worked at a diner, i worked at a supermarket. In college, I started an advertising business in which I had contracts with a bunch of restaurants in which I did their advertising for them. Made some nice money. I also started a unofficial website of my college, and they paid me $20k to get it from me. Now i sell porn. :)
