Why not 1 mega site instead of 5-6 sites?????
 

Hello all,
I have one major (business) issue, that I haven?t made a decision about. Maybe your experience could help us to decide.

Why wouldn?t it be a good idea for us to create one mega site encompassing all, (mostly black/interracial content with big booty girls, thick girls, orgies, celebrity hosted movies, etc), and creatively market each aspect to consumers, opposed to building out 5-6 mega sites. I understand the concept of creating ?storefronts? where one customer may be drawn to one thing opposed to another, but if I can effectively market the type of content that they are seeking why wouldn?t it be a better move? If I have a total of $15,000 allocated for advertising and marketing, I would have to equally promote each site, assuming it were 5 sites, a total of $3,000 each. I don?t save in that area.:helpme

Is the concept of more bang for the buck the driving force for most to start multiple sites? Customers feel like they are getting more for the same dollar? Your help is appreciated.

You can create multiple niche sites AND a megasite while hosting all your content in a central location; the difference would be how your users access it (and membership price).

No need to duplicate your content all over the place.

That's basically it. It doesn't matter how much you sell one "mega site". It doesn't matter how much content is stuffed into it. You can advertise it as the webs biggest porn site covering niches a b c d and e thru q too. It still doesn't sound as appealing as joining one site and gaining access to 40 others.

Now maybe your idea versus a 4 or 5 site package deal holds more water, but overall I like the bundle as an easier sell to surfers.

If i were you, I'd use Nastydollars as your benchmark. Look at the way the Reality Kings member's area is done and then the individual sites like Cum Fiesta, Captain Stabbin, etc.
