The Cure: Any hardcore fans here?
I like The Cure, I even know the words to a few of their songs, but my wife has every album and knows all the words to EVERY song (excluding maybe some of the newest).
Does anyone else here love them that much? Or any band for that matter? |
Ive only heard a couple of their songs but I always wanted to hear more. I love that song "Facination Street"

The Cure is horrible. I never understood how so many people like them. Most of the people I know who are fans are drunk, degenerate Indians, so I figured that's what it was.

Cure played last night in Singapore! sadly i have not enough money to go to Singapore and see them play. :( its rare that they go to an Asian country.

I used to really like them but I haven't popped in one of their CD's in a while. You really have to be in the mood to listen to them, that mood being near suicidal depression...

I love them almost that much :) I don't know every word to every song but just about all the words to most songs..lol
I don't get how they are depressing. I find it is more like poetry in many cases. Anyway, I like them all but today I have already played Killing An Arab and Charlotte Sometimes. |

For a London based band The Cure rarely play London these days. They are pretty much the last band on my 'must see before I die list' and they don't give me the chances to see them.

Well, back in the day (1986 ) I was a huge fan of them, actually used to meet with the people from their fans club here. I know all their spongs by heart, I don´t like anything that came after Disintegration though. I keep somewhere all their books and lots of magazines with articles and such I used to collect. The Cure is one of my all time favorite bands! I have everything on vinyl including the rare shit! However I'm feeling this tour, unless someone is buying my ticket for me because it's way too pricey for a band w/only 1 orginial member. Atleast thats what i heard.
