Pricing for exclusive 20 minute scenes?

What is the usual price for a 20 minute girl-boy 100% exclusive scene?

And the same for totally non-exclusive, if we're talking about shoot-on-demand.

Please share your experiences in this matter.

20 minutes boy-girl 100% exclusive scene will cost you around 1000-1300$

NaughtyRob 08-01-2007 12:31 PM

Depends on many factors. $1,000 - $2,500

AlexN 08-01-2007 10:52 PM

I'm talking about the absolute average, so according to you for $1,000 you can get the worst thing on the market, with it being the starting point?

There are so many factors. You really need to limit it to exactly how you want to shoot and where you want to shoot.

You can shoot a POV scene with an average college girl in some college town for $400 by filming it yourself with your Sony Handycam.

You can do a full set with female and male talent in LA including a shoot house, director, camera men, catering, make up artist, photographer, sound, lighting, etc. for $3,000 and beyond.

Maybe somewhere in Europe you might get those rates. Here in the US it will cost you $2500+

With such a general enquiry it's impossible to give you a correct answer.

If you are either a producer or buyer I suggest, politely, that you learn a little more about what you're doing.

A good girl and guy can cost $1500 plus an agents fee. A crap girl looking for work and her dead beat boyfriend will do it for $300.

A good boy girl scene will make a return to the producer of over $25,000. This is for a good one and not a great one or better. Just your well shot, average scene with a couple of good looking people.

It's not the cost of the content that's important, it's the profit you make from it.

Private will and do pay 25,000 Euros a scene. I know DVD producers who refuse to pay more than 1,000 Euros.

Very true. You can shoot a girl on a casting as a test scene and pay her $100 to fuck you while you film it. Or you can get a girl who will cost $3,000.00.

OK both extremes but both happen.

Your $3,000 for a full crew in LA is cutting it tight. LOL

Let's say that I'm interested in producing content and not want to deal with marketing of it. Just sell it for a single pay, and move on to the next scene. 25k for scene sounds very attractive, but I reckon that can happen when you go on marketing the content yourself and/or go on some revshare with the content distributors?

If you don't have experience shooting content, I highly recommend Dave Cummings' course, http://www.howtomakeadultvideos.com/.
I'm not using a referral code, so I obviously believe in the product. Dave's a porn veteran in the truest sense of the word and can show you the ins and outs of the adult video industry, and how to make money in it...

He seems like a smart guy that would give some good advice but is that stuff mainly aimed at producing dvd's?

My normal rate is between $2000 & $2500 for an exclusive hardcore scene.

AllStar 08-02-2007 10:39 AM

There is no average.
You would be better off posting a link of the type of content you want..
The you would ask for that type of quality, that type of girl and that type of guy how much would it cost.

Guys go from $100 to $1000
Girls go from $400 to $2500
Sets go from $50 at a motel 6 to $150 an hour to more for custom.
Shooters go $300 to $1000 depending on experience and equipment.
Do you want makeup?
Special wardrobe?
Usually guys like you who ask can't afford it any way so why even ask...
