Quick dreamweaver question
I put a layer onto some graphics on my page and then typed a paragraph of text into that layer. when i view in browser the layer moves around depending upon how big my browser is open. is there any way to anchor the layer so it stays put?
Thanks in advance! |
I am not an html expert, butI think layers have problems -and I think most things you can do in layers - you can do in tables. Is there a specific reason you are using layers? If not - may I suggest you use tables instead.
I know that doesn't answer your question - sorry. |
i made the graphic in photoshop and sliced it up in image ready. I want to layer plain text over the image. do you know a better way? i dont think you can put a table on top of another table, only inside of it.

Put a main table down. Then use your image as the background image. Make sure they are the same size. Then you can insert other tables over it. Make sure to look at it in Netscape though. Just to make sure it reads it right.

Yeah - I think you can do what netstars said. The only reason I mention it - is when I got dreamweaver - I tried to do the layer stuff - and just couldn't get it to work - I use the background images now - you might have to experiment - or something like that.
Now I am not sure you can get the text to go over all the images - but you can do this: http://www.pornking.biz/ganj.htm Oops - I spelled your name wrong - sorry. Hope it helps. |
