America is what it is today because of European immigrants. Without them, the Native Americans would still be the majority, maybe with a few handfuls of Asians thrown in.

Not sure why a picture of a bus makes France better... Crepes and all things Paris come to mind but lets face it you have very ugly women as the norm.

RE: Ugly women - I'd really have to counter that as total bs. Sure, this is Paris, so there's a disproportionate amount of gorgeous women here, but I've travelled pretty extensively through the US, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, and French Women rank quite up there - American women with farmed out teeth not so much.

Not saying there's not exceptions - but in general.. :)

You gotta admit - Riots in France are fucking cool. It shows the people are passionate, they care, and they're not going to get fucked over.

In the US, AU, and other sheep country if the government does something the people don't like, we take it in the arse.

In France, if the government does something the people don't like, they go mad and *make change*.

I am always impressed by this.

I have traveled a bit and seriously, the french women did nothing for me and when i say French my experience is only Paris. Must just be that as a rule they do not fit my ideal type. I am nuts for Brazilian women.

The contributing factors to the riots aside, it shows the country is not ambivalent to their situation.

As an australian, where most of the population, particulally the younger generations are completely indifferent to everything, it's really refreshing to see people proud of their role as citizens etc, and not content to be walked over.

You can see tits and thongs all over any european beach. Not the same in USA, remember Jackson's nipple scandal. However there was a law-suite and women's advocates won so it is alowed to go topless on beaches. That means you can't be arested but any beach have a by-law where were it say to not disturb the others and most are disturbed by seeing a tit.

As for ugly - non ugly I would say Americans women have no respect for thier siluette or how they dress. That why Europeans girls dress way much sexy, eat less burgers and wear high heels and look better then Americans girls. After seeing more then 20 countries including East/West CA/UASA, and some Europeans countries I would say Cechs/Polish are among the best then Romanian/Russians/Nordic. French girls are not the best but not the worst.

I think you're right - the distinguishing 'french factor' is class, poise and presentation. Lined up against a wall, I don't think they'd be the most attractive european race, but they're not bad :)

I do wish Americans were as active as the French are in their government's policies.
