Police chase live on FOX News right now!

This idiot is flyin'.

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 12:58 PM

Man, if I was the camera man in the chopper I'd be having a rough day.

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 01:00 PM

Headline news has a chopper on the other side of the interstate.

StuBradley 07-30-2007 01:01 PM

They said he outran one chopper (could only go 90mph) earlier in the chase. :(

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 01:12 PM

They tried to stop him for a broken tailight, and now it's a hour long chase. Retarded!

BAKO 07-30-2007 01:13 PM

keep me posted :)

StuBradley 07-30-2007 01:16 PM

seems they just stopped the coverage in mid chase :(

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 01:17 PM

MSNBC has the best coverage. Headline news is 5 seconds or so delayed. I'm on top of it, lmao.

StuBradley 07-30-2007 01:20 PM

Still running....It's on Headline News now.

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 01:22 PM

oh shit he got spiked on an exit. Might have missed. This is nuts.
Oh wait, his left front is flat

CIVMatt 07-30-2007 01:24 PM

annnnnnnnnnnnd busted

StuBradley 07-30-2007 01:28 PM

It should be interesting to see what he was running for/from.

Retarded Tom?? :winkwink:

You mean everyone involved is totally insane and the only reasons TV are involved is pandering to public voyeurism and "car chases". Damn - the news must be boring...

Note - Gotta check my tail lights regularly :Oh crap

Tom_PM 07-30-2007 01:36 PM

lol, well I meant retarded to run when you hear that chances are the cop was going to say "are you aware that your tailight is out sir?" and you say "oh crap, no I didnt." and that could be it.

Instead he decides somehow it would be better to put people at risk, and when does anyone ever get away after a chase? Close to never..

But I have to admit, live car chases do make for captivating tv, especially for someone sitting in a chair all day, hehe.

dready 07-30-2007 01:48 PM

Good to see they can get that many resources on such an important story so quickly.

Elli 07-30-2007 02:00 PM

If they didn't reward these idiots by putting them on tv and glorifying their actions, there might be fewer of these chases overall. And then we wouldn't have them clogging up the tv with fake "news coverage."

hell, I hit 90mph just going to the corner store for smokes.

ghostshadow 07-30-2007 02:35 PM

They said on Headline News that there's a policy in Dallas or all of Texas where they won't pursuit a car unless they believe the driver was involved in a violent crime or threat. So unless the cops went crazy there might be more to it.

With that said, MSNBC said they got one of their reports close enough to talk to him. He said his name was Randy and he was in a hurry to get his cat to the veterinarian.

Tom_PM 07-31-2007 01:28 PM

Follow up on this guy. His home was searched and police found DOZENS of cats and a dog, AND......... dead cats wrapped up in his fridge!!!!!
:uhoh :eek7 :eek2

Good god, I guess he ran because he knew he was in deep shit after all.

Wowwwwwww what a freak. :helpme

sniperwolf 07-31-2007 02:12 PM

:Oh crap Oh gosh! that's freaking scary!

Michaelious 07-31-2007 02:14 PM
