A legendary coach and innovative mind...

Sad to see him go.

His funeral will be huge.

I was just listening to Eddie DeBartolo and John Madden reminiscing about Walsh.

While he is a legend outside of the Bay Area, to people here, where he attended San Jose State, coached at both Cal and Stanford, and built the 49ers into a championship team, he is a beloved figure.

He will be missed:
