SPLOGS / Google / hahahahahahahahahaha Qwerstion
Here is the scenario.
I have 10 splogs about a particular topic like bicycle. They are all on sub-domains of domain.com each splog sub-domain name is just a variation on bicycle keywords. bike-tire.domain.com tire-bike.domain.com bicycle-pump.domain.com etc. I make one post and post it to the other 10 sub-domains. Yes I know google penalizes you for duplicate content. My qwerstion for the homies is... 1. how will this effect my results on services like t echnorati? 2. Will they eventually ban the sub-domains? 3. Will they ban the domain? 4. Will this effect any other domains I have that are not splogs, but residing on the same server dns etc? 5. The google penalty? How badly will this effect the splogs? Now, if 10 sub-domains is not an issue. When does it become an issue? 20? 50? 100? All of course with the exact same posts. Thanks in advance. |
It doesn't matter because pretty soon you'll disappear for a year or so, and when you decide to come back the rules will all be different.

You will not get any permanent listings on Google with that strategy.

I have blogs that I handwrite 100%, and am building something hopefully strong with them. This is quick turnover type stuff....so still wondering if I'll have any issues regarding being banned by services like t echnorati, or if google will ban those sub-domains like right off the bat. |

There is an easy solution to avoid Google penalties you for duplicate content however (note CyberSEO plugin in my sig :))

google wont ban you for duplicate content, they will just penalize those pages a bit. but im not sure why you would want to do 10 subdomains with the same content.
I can however show you how to make all 10 be relevent :) |
