converting wmv to mpeg
 

i tryied doing it using TMPGenc but the output files is a lot big... can anyone help me on that? any recommended programs?

i would like to know a program that could do this but wouldn't it look the shits??
the wmv is already compressed and converting to an mpeg(larger file size) I think would look fuckin horrible.

use stoik video converter. i find it to be the best program to use when working with WMV's to other formats.

how does the quality turn out ?

i have stoik video converter and i think it just converts avi to wmv and wmv to avi.. nothing more...

Alvaro: have you tried TMPEG encoder?

Get Vegas Video. I'm still learning video editing myself, but Vegas Video can open and render wmv into any other format you want allmost. I can't seem to go out to DivX (yet)
