How many domains do you own that you've done nothing with?
Asking around it seems like most people in the biz have, lets just say, more than a few domains just sitting... both mainstream and adult. How many do you have?
I have a few.... not lots though.
Kinda bugs me too. I wish I had more time to devote to them all. |
i own a grand total of 75 domains, only 12 are developped :(

Currently got between 2200 - 2400 of which 400, at most, are actually developed. Some undeveloped are not adult orientated, others were bought from mid 90's onwards and a few decent names among them, but can't seriously see them ever being developed. There is a limit to the number of domains that can be managed efficiently. |
approx. 100 domains, 4 developed :(:helpme:( the rest parked :Oh crap
4,000 domains, a few hundred with some development.
About 300 domains, 150 or so in use.
too many....
A little over 40 for me. Probably be more like 60 by the end of today. Getting the itch.

What do you think? |
1 developed and about 100 parded (for now)
about 30 with 20 in use
just two
a little over 250
I have like 150 domains, and I am trying to get at least something on each of them now
thanks to Autoblogger Pro it is MUCH easier than it was previously for me |
6 thousand
Probably 20% of the domains I own at any time are either parked or being filtered down to something, although more and more I try to at least get a unique page on the root to keep the bots happier.
50 domains... 19 developed, 31 to go.
only bout 6 or 7 atm.
about 30 online and 40 parked but we are launching three four sites per week so the numbers will change very soon ;)
My latest experiment is to put a simple TGP (hang on, all my TGPs are simple) onto undeveloped adult domains. That way they make a little money in the meantime, and will have some residual bookmarker traffic when/if the site is ever properly developed. I estimate such a site will probably make about $30 per year for the 20 mins work it takes to set up, not an awful lot, but it means a profit rather than a loss. These are domains that would have little generic/parking value BTW
