Ok first of all I understand your concerns about a torrent site like this but let me ask you this How do you know the content providers havent given out permission to use this content?
I will tell you the reason why every Joe Blow is making a tube site like this is because alot of sponsors (ARE ALLOWING IT)!
It is the new wave of porn that has hit the market in the last year or so and soon it too will not be making as much money as it once did so dont worry.
There is nothing wrong in my eyes with a tube site that uses content (with permission)from content providers if however it is a rip off site then that is a different story!
Im not sure exactly how the bandwith bill would be I guess it all depends on how well you now how to cut it back,but these types of sites attrcact surfers by the truckloads with Bookmarkers that much I do know.Within three months time a site like this can grow from zero traffic to about fifty thousand hits a day with solid bookmarks within a year if the content is fresh to threehundred hits a day thats(Remarkable)!
Depending on how well you set up your site a surfer may never want to leave it!
Now the trick comes in,How do you get a bunch of freeloaders to spend money when they get it all for free?
I know this was a main concern when TGPs first hit the market and plenty of people were bitching about those back then but come on look at how well those did for a while huh!
So stop the hatin on (All tube sites)cause some of them arent rippin people off you know?

Well I know where your coming from on this I have also spent countless hours cropping and deleting watermarks myself but at the end of the day is it really worth the measly ten thousand hits a day the trading bullshit,and the checks for like a grand a month?

But yeah your right and I think more and more sponsors should get off the roost and make some legit free movies that we as affiliates can use if not that then at least give us as affiliates the permissions to do so ourselves!

Video sharing will soon get the axe when copyright enforcement catches up.

My script doesn't "share" video. So there is a big differrence.

My script only deals with content that sponsors have approved for free sites.

Thats the way Im going as well and I hope more people catch on to your great script I think its one of the ways to go.
More and more sponsors need to get off the pot and provide legit videos to use as well this will also help to filter out these torrent sites:thumbsup
What everyone who hates on the tube site idea has to understand is that there will always be pirates/cheaters no matter what type of sites we as webmasters represent be it text,MGP,TGP,Tubes whatever.Plain and simple and Im sure it will catch up to them good too when it does.
Ultimatley its up to our sponsors to make the switch and I think alot of them are!
BTW does anyone have a list of sponsors that provide content for use on this type of site with clips from one minute up to 30?

several reasons. #1 sites with full members videos with no watermarks advertising ONLY dating sites and fleshlight.. common sense says how would they make money ?
and if this were the case , why would they go out of thir way to upload a video to a video site when they could just tell their affiliates. " HERES ALL OUR MEMBERS AREA VIDEOS , PLEASE GIVE THEM AWAY"

btw tnaflix is not a torrent site , its just a website with lots of stolen videos. You dont watch videos on a torrent site , you download things and watch them on your own computer


so before you lump every website together as the same perhaps you should get your facts straight and understand not every site is the same..

Many Porn tube sites out there do not get there shit right though and yeah they do push a little with unlicensed content.

I just always push for content I can use and make what I can from it.

I don't mind tube sites all that much, the only thing that bugs me is the conversions....I have not had good conversions at ALL with any of the tube sites....in fact I usually can't find any tube site that gave me better than 1:2000 on my traffic, and that was on the good side

I have one video up on one of the sites that has given me 0:72,916 so far, and that is on a site that does 1:500 easily with normal traffic

I do. Also if you hit me up I will give you the 1st clip from a scene. This is usually 2 minutes and a teasing part. Or we have the one minute clips.

If 73,000 people looked at a video and did not buy it I would question the video, the numbers or the paysite. As the site and content converts on other traffic I think the numbers are out. Even with people who do'n buy 73k is too many.

I agree, and if I hadn't used the same video in my blogs and other places and got at least a 1:1000 return on it, I wouldn't question it and put something else up...but fact remains, tube site ratios, on average, are shit (at least for me)

every now and then I find some niche or some site that is fresh and people just love for a week, but then it is back to normal
