isprime also has a DC in Amsterdam. They do have a Dutch company(BV) so also with laws etc, the Dutch law applies...

That's a bit misleading....US residents that buy hosting in Amsterdam still
fall under US jurisdiction. Whether the provider is US or not is irrelevant.

Yup, it's not about server location, it's about where you run your business from...you'd need a dutch company, too, to avoid 2257 for example.

And the owner of the company SHOULD NOT live in the US. :thumbsup

However to use EU billing processors this doesn't matter. With an EU company you can use VISA/Mastercard
in Europe regardless if you're a US resident or not.
