Domain Registration and and Hosting - business thread.

Howdee all.

Ok - I need serious recommendations for a good registration company (not godaddy).

I need some good recommendations for hosting along the lines of 10-20$ per month for unlimited domains and whatever on the space/bw front.

I need to be able to change DNS servers on a whim with ZERO hastle for any domains I want if I need to switch hosts.

Ideally id like a trouble ticket system in place on host and registrars if poss.

This is for a move of existing stuff I have - and possibly some new domains I'll need shortly.

Spam me as hard as you can please.

Cheers
MrChips.

Check http://velcom.com/ virtual hosting accounts. I'm sure you'll find what suits your needs ;)

tranza 07-27-2007 07:38 AM

Just stay away from Godaddy and Dreamhost and you'll be fine...

I'd suggest Namecheap and Webair...

MrChips 07-27-2007 07:40 AM

Tranza - I did a dreamhost one already - whats the story morning glory?

MrChips 07-27-2007 07:50 AM

raymor 07-30-2007 02:19 PM

We cannot say enough good things about Phatservers. Chilihost is awesome too.

Vick! 07-30-2007 03:54 PM

Get reseller account of eNom and manage all your domains there.

For hosting, use Hostgator for adult and Site5's MultiSite hosting plan for mainstream.
I also saw people recommending webair, I have not used them so cant really say anything. But HostGator and Site5 have been good to me.

chaze 07-30-2007 05:33 PM
