I think I got ripped off
 

I orderd two tgp templates from The TGP Factory almost two weeks ago and I feel Like Im getting the run around. They have already been payed. I got a icq from them maybe two days after I placed the order and I was told that they lost a hard drive and could not find one of the templats that I orderd so they where going make me a coustem site. after that I have not heard nothing from them I have called , email and ICQ them and they just wont talk to me at all. I sent Dynamix one last icq today telling them that if I did not here back from them that I was going to call visa and get my money back.
Has anyone gotten any work from them before. I really dont want to piss any one off. And If they would have just told me hay man It will be a few weeks or something. But Here I sit out the money and no site.

You know it's funny how i see many designers saying here "i'm done with working without money upfront. From now on money first, then the design" and exactly the same thing from clients. Both sides have the same stories.

50% up front - rest on delivery- my rule.

zero up front is my rule, designers are flakes, you want the money, do the job

I've yet to meet a designer who makes deadlines..when they say 2 weeks,they mean 1 month plus ;)

I hear that, my last designer told me 2 day turnaround time she must of ment two days after the two week vacation she failed to mention to me before pissing off.
